Funeral services for William "Bill" Henry Kassheimer, 52, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Ringling, Oklahoma, with Rev. Joe Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Grady Cemetery.
Bill was born on March 10, 1973, in Florence, Arizona, to Mr. William Henry Kassheimer and Mrs. Mary Ann (Prescott) Kassheimer. He passed away on October 22, 2025, in Sulphur, Oklahoma.
Raised in Wilson during his early childhood, Bill moved to Ringling in 1978, where he attended school until the eighth grade at Zaneis. At the age of ten, he developed a strong bond with Junior Patrick, who mentored him by teaching him to cut hay, earning him the nickname "Friday," as he would only show up on that day for payday. Bill shifted to Ringling at the beginning of his ninth-grade year, later relocating to Arizona and ultimately graduating from high school in Oklahoma City at Carl Albert. In the early 2000s, he returned to this region.
On May 14, 2004, Bill married Redonna Klein. He was passionate about coon hunting, often joined by friends Calvin Wade, Leon Gillium, and Dale Vernon, and frequently spoke of training his beloved dogs, including one named "Foxie." Known for his playful spirit, Bill had a fondness for animals and a deep compassion for children, always ensuring that any child who came to his home felt welcome and cared for. An avid outdoorsman, he provided assistance to numerous ranches in the area, performing various outdoor tasks. Bill was a man who embraced the simple joys of life.
He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Eva and Cecil Prescott, Anna "Hulstrunk" Kassheimer Platt, and Frank Carl Kassheimer; and special aunt Belinda Vails. Bill is survived by his mother, Mary Kassheimer; his wife, Redonna Kassheimer; daughters Breeanna Kassheimer and Summer Kassheimer; grandchildren Jasper and Jazzlyn; brothers Thaddeus K. Kassheimer and wife Jenny, and David Kassheimer and wife Nancy; sister Judy Wright; as well as several nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of family and friends.
Pallbearers for the service will be Brent Wade, Michael Gillium, Jacob Smith, Ross Fondren, Brad Wade, and Steven Mitchell. Honorary bearers include Kyle Johnson, Calvin Wade, and Jackson French.
The family expresses their sincere gratitude to the Choice Hospice and Artesian Nursing Home staff for their compassionate care and support during Bill’s time in their care.
A visitation is scheduled for Monday evening from 6-8 P.M., at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ringling.
