Billy Earl Higgins

Graveside Services for Mr. Billy Earl Higgins are scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Provence Cemetery with Steve Redding officiating.  Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson. 

Billy was born October 27, 1959 in Oklahoma City, OK to the late Mr. Kenneth Earl Higgins and Mrs. Sandra Jayne (Autry) Colbert.  He departed from this life on August 11, 2025 in Ardmore, OK.

Billy was raised in Moore, OK graduating from Moore High School in 1978.  Soon after high school, he went into the family upholstery business, Higgins Interiors from 1988 - 2007.  Billy was the drummer in the family band with his father and brother Gene and was an accomplished musician. Billy married Brenda Tucker and together they shared 15 years of marriage. Billy later found the love of his life, Mindy Norman and were married on April 18, 2009 in Oklahoma City, OK where they shared 20 wonderful years of marriage together.  Billy loved his work, music, fishing but most of all he was a great family man who loved his family dearly. 

Preceding him in death were his parents; and a bonus son, Chasen Tucker.

Billy is survived by his wife, Mindy; his bonus children, Parker Tucker and Tiffany Taylor; bonus grandchildren, Dawson, Trenton and Cara Taylor; siblings, Brenda Caskey, Eugene Higgins, Alvie Higgins and his wife Julie, and Erick Taylor; a special friend who was like a brother, Scott Smith and his wife Sara; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends. 

Pallbearers will be Gene Higgins, Alvie Higgins, Erick Taylor, Aron Hicks, Earl Garmon, and Scott Smith.  Honorary bearers will be Johnny Evans, Tyler Higgins, and Darrell Sherwood.
