Brenda was born on March 26, 1951, at Duncan, OK., to the late Mr. Hubert Dee Harris and Mrs. Mary Ann (Leach) Harris. She departed this life on October 28, 2025. Brenda was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose warmth and dedication to her family will forever be cherished by those she held close.
Brenda was raised in Healdton, where she completed her high school education, graduating with the class of 1970. On June 10 of that same year, she married the love of her life, Mr. Clyde Folsom, in a ceremony at the Missionary Baptist Church in Healdton. Their marriage marked the beginning of a beautiful journey together, as they became residents of Love County in 1973, creating a loving home filled with joy and laughter. For over 20 years, Brenda proudly served in the Love County Treasurer's office, where her commitment to her work was admired by colleagues and community members alike. Outside of her professional life, she found immense joy in traveling, exploring new places, and creating lasting memories with her family. Brenda's role as a Meemo brought her great happiness, as she cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. She had a knack for quickly transforming any new house into a welcoming home, skillfully decorating and organizing to reflect her love and care. Each evening, she and Clyde enjoyed driving along the country roads, taking in the serenity of the beautiful landscapes that surrounded her. Brenda was a member of the Marietta First Baptist Church and a long-time member of Pastor Tommy's Community Bible Class and more recently part of Joe and Chrissy Locke's Sunday School Class. She will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family and her nurturing spirit.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Hubert and Mary Ann; brother, Larry Dee Harris; son-in-law, Scott Humble.
