Services for Camren Chase Walser, 15, of Lone Grove are scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Bro. John Genn officiating. Interment will follow at Cheek Cemetery south of Lone Grove. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson.
Camren was born August 16, 2009, at St. Luke's Hospital in The Woodlands, TX., to Mr. Jack Luther Walser and Mrs. Sara Nichole (Perkins) Walser. He departed this life Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Lone Grove, OK.
Beginning his life in Conroe, TX, Camren was raised in various communities across Texas before he made his home in Lone Grove, where he moved in 2020. As a student at Lone Grove Public Schools, he embraced the Longhorn spirit and was preparing to enter his junior year this fall. He had a great love and enthusiasm for sports and outdoor activities. A dedicated athlete, an extremely hard worker, Camren participated in football, wrestling, and weightlifting, showcasing his competitive nature and team spirit. The beauty of country living was evident in Camren’s life, as he thrived on spending time outdoors. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, often seen enjoying the serenity of nature. Camren had a particular fondness for bow hunting, which was a testament to his adventurous spirit. His curiosity extended to tinkering with cars in auto mechanics, a hobby that reflected his hands-on approach to life and his willingness to learn. Those who knew Camren would agree that he possessed an exceptional sense of humor, often bringing laughter and light to any situation. His infectious laughter and witty remarks made him a beloved companion among peers and family alike. Camren's generous heart shone brightly as he was always the first to lend a helping hand, demonstrating a remarkable sense of courage and selflessness. It was said that he would run towards a fire, not away from it, embodying a spirit of bravery and kindness. Camren will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of humor, bravery, and camaraderie will forever remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and community.
Survivors include his parents Jack and Sara Walser of Lone Grove; siblings, Justin Walser and wife Tamera of Madill, Alina Walser of Katy, TX, Bradley Walser, Breanna Walser, Kode Walser, Kace Walser, and Lexi Walser all of Lone Grove; grandparents, Don and Kelly Perkins of Corinth, TX; Uncle and Aunts, Cody Perkins and wife Krista of Corinth, TX,, Ken Fosmoen and wife Chelsea of Spring Hill, TN, Linda Heitman of Huntsville, TX, Susan and Denton Rowley of Magnolia, TX, Bonnie and Duane Reynolds of Huffman, TX; numerous other family and many friends.
Pallbearers will be Justin Walser, Bradley Walser, Kode Walser, Kace Walser, Cody Perkins, and Ken Fosmoen.
