Services for Charles Edward Campbell, 85, of Healdton, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Monday, April 6, 2026, at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Healdton with Bro. John Harris officiating. Interment will follow at Ringling Memorial Cemetery.

Charles was born October 5, 1940, at Coalgate, OK, to the late Mr. Grover Cleveland Campbell and Mrs. Beulah (Graham) Campbell. He departed this life April 2, 2026, at his home in Healdton.

Raised in Coalgate, Charles completed his schooling there, graduating with the class of 1958. After high school, he worked alongside his father on their family farm, where they harvested peanuts and cotton, instilling in him a strong work ethic that would guide his entire life. On January 14, 1962, he married the love of his life, the former Miss Sandra Thompson, in Healdton, and together they made their home in Bethany, Oklahoma. His commitment to his country was unwavering, as demonstrated by his service in the United States Army after being drafted. Upon completing his military service, Charles embarked on a dedicated career with the United States Postal Service, where he served faithfully until retirement. Following retirement, Charles and Sandra relocated to Healdton, Oklahoma, where Charles embraced his entrepreneurial spirit. He built numerous homes, contributed his labor to the oilfield, and distinguished himself as an inventor. His diverse skills extended to appliance repair and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning work. A true craftsman and collector, Charles had a passion for coins and a rare ability to restore and fix a variety of items. Charles found great joy in the company of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He often played ball with them and coached many of their teams. His devotion to community was evident through his service as president of the Healdton school board, where he contributed to local education, and as a deacon in the Assembly of God Church and the New Life Christian Center, serving in spiritual leadership roles. Beyond these responsibilities, Charles enjoyed fishing, playing board games, golfing, and occasional visits to the casino. He treasured time spent with family and friends, particularly Max Blevins and Joe Skelton, with whom he shared many meaningful moments in his later years. Charles Edward Campbell’s life was a testament to hard work, inventiveness, faith, and family devotion.
