Celebration of Life Services for Neal Hill, 75, of Healdton, will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel with David Daniel officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery, Healdton. Attendees are encouraged to wear casual dress.

Charley Neal Hill, Jr. was born on September 20, 1951, in Kermit, Texas, to Charley Hill, Sr. and Dean (Sinclair) Hill. Just days after his birth, his family moved to Healdton, OK, where Neal spent his life building friendships, raising a family, and becoming deeply rooted in the community.

Neal graduated from Healdton High School in 1969, maintaining friendships that lasted throughout the years. He attended the University of Oklahoma, completing degrees in petroleum and electrical engineering in 1975. His career began with Mobil Oil and included roles with Kaiser-Francis Oil Company, the Daube Company, Westheimer-Neustadt Co., Merrico, and Jimmy Rex Chatham. For the final 30 years, he worked with TriPower Resources in Ardmore, forming a special work family.

In 2015, Neal was honored as Healdton Oil Man of the Year, a significant recognition given his dedication to the oil and gas industry. However, Neal was not solely defined by his career. He had a passion for farming and ranching, continuing to work as long as his strength allowed.

Neal loved following his daughter Neala's sports and son Cullen's football and dirt-track racing. As a grandfather, "Popi" cherished supporting Camden and Braxton, even if from afar.

A devoted fan of OU football and women's basketball, Neal served on the board of the Fast Break Club. Those who knew him enjoyed his humor and storytelling, marked by embellishments that made each retelling unique. His euphemisms and expressions became familiar sayings within his family.

Above all, Neal valued his family. He and Debbie (Skelton) married on August 15, 1971, sharing over 55 years together. He leaves behind his beloved family: wife Debbie Hill; daughter Neala Shepherd and husband Bryan; son Cullen Hill and Ashley Landgraf; grandchildren Camden and Braxton Shepherd, and Remi Lollis; brother Jim Hill and wife Tracy; extended family members, and friends. His cherished Siberian Husky, Dozer, was considered another grandchild.

Neal was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and several relatives. Casket bearers include Jimmy Rex Chatham, Jeff James, Curtis Morgan, Jesse Brown,  John Hoefer and ??????. Honorary bearers are John Gibbs, Mike Goodnight, Healdton High School class of 1969, and TriPower Resources.

 Family visitation will be from 6-8 PM Friday at Alexander Gray Funeral Home.
