Darrell Budwin Anderson

Darrell Budwin Anderson was born December 8, 1943, at Cloquet, Minnesota, to the late Mr. Arnold Botbid Anderson and Mrs. Helvi Ellen Marie (Staudinger) Anderson.He departed this life May 8, 2025, at Ardmore, OK at the age of 81.

Darrell was raised in Minnesota, where he attended high school, graduating from East High in Duluth, Minnesota. He then began his journey into the workforce as a typesetter, following in the footsteps of his father. His career path led him to work for a newspaper company before he transitioned into a salesman for several tobacco firms. In the early 1980s, Darrell made the move to Lebanon, where he would make his home for the rest of his life. On June 23, 2000, Darrell found love again when he married Brenda Butcher in Dallas, Texas. Together, they built a life filled with companionship and shared experiences in Lebanon. Throughout his life, Darrell had a passion for games that challenged and engaged him. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing pool and racquetball, along with a good game of chess that showcased his strategic thinking and competitive spirit. Darrell was a devoted member of the Victory Life Church, even when circumstances made it difficult for him to attend services in person, he remained committed to his faith by faithfully watching the church services online. Darrell will be remembered not only for his professional accomplishments and hobbies but also for his kindness, generosity, and the love he shared with those fortunate enough to know him. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

Preceding him in death are his parents; brother, David Anderson; sister, Sandra Singh.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda of the home; son, Michael Anderson of California; brother, Dan Anderson and wife Maurine of Lainesboro, MN; sister, Sharon Finn of Fon Du Lac, WI; granddaughter, Kira; numerous other family and many friends.
