David “Buck” James Harnsberger, 67, of Lone Grove was born July 7, 1958, at Oklahoma City, Ok, to the late Mr. Warren Harnsberger and Mrs. Marjorie (Derrick) Harnsberger. He departed this life November 19, 2025.
David married Ronda (Smith) Harnsberger on December 16, 2008, in Gainesville, Texas. Together, they built a life that began in Dickson and later expanded to Lone Grove, where they created cherished memories filled with love and companionship. Raised in Oklahoma City, David completed his high school education before moving to Dickson, where his father constructed a home at Lake Murray. This environment nurtured his youthful spirit and set the foundation for his future endeavors. David furthered his education locally in Dickson as he sought to refine his career. David's professional journey led him to the Ryder Company in Ardmore, where he initially worked in the office while also applying his hands-on skills in diesel mechanics. His diligence drove him to attend mechanics school, mastering various car engines and enhancing his technical expertise. Over the years, he contributed to the workforce at Premier for six years and then dedicated five years to Kenworth, where he continued to showcase his dedication to quality work and craftsmanship. Beyond his professional life, David's true passion lay in racing. Known for his tenacity and love for the sport, he became an avid race car driver, often seen behind the wheel of the #17 car. His spirit was unyielding; he once triumphantly secured victory in a race despite competing with a broken foot. David's enduring enthusiasm for racing was matched only by his skill as a welder, often applying these talents to build innovative creations.
Throughout his life, David was well-liked and by all who knew him. His adventurous spirit, combined with a kind heart, left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to cross his path.
Preceding him in death are his parents, brother, John Michael Harnsberger.
