Tinkey was born October 12, 1942, at Milo, OK, to the late Mr. Jess Miller and Mrs. Lola (McGahan) Miller. She departed this life on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at her home in Graham.
Tinkey was raised in Milo, where she attended Woodford School until the eighth grade, later completing her education at Graham High School, where she graduated with the class of 1960. On April 6, 1961, Tinkey married her beloved husband, Mr. Bill Needham, in Ardmore. Together, they built a life filled with love and commitment in their home in Graham, where they established roots that would endure through the years. Tinkey dedicated herself to the role of a housewife, a title she wore proudly. Her love for family was evident in everything she did, and she cherished the moments spent with her loved ones. Tinkey's commitment to her community extended beyond her family. As a devoted member of the New Hope Freewill Baptist Church, she actively contributed to the life of her congregation, fostering connections and friendships that enriched her life and the lives of those around her.
