Derral Wayne Folsom

Services for Derral Wayne Folsom, 74, of Ringling, are scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Ringling with Bro. Jim Grounds officiating. Interment will follow at Ringling Memorial Cemetery.

Derral Wayne Folsom, 74, passed peacefully from this life on July 3, 2025. He was born on June 27, 1951, in Ringling, Oklahoma, to Ray and Peggy (Still) Folsom.

Derral spent most of his life on the family farm west of Ringling, where he was surrounded by love and laughter. Though he never attended school, Derral taught his family and friends priceless lessons about joy, kindness, and unconditional love. Some of Derral’s happiest moments were spent riding in the pickup with his dad, especially on trips to Little Nell’s for a Coke and a bag of Lay’s potato chips. He loved nothing more than relaxing on the front porch swing, soaking in the sunshine. Derral never married, but he had a way of winning hearts — always collecting smiles and hugs, especially from the ladies.

Those left to cherish his memory include his siblings: Shirley Arnold and husband Dave of Tyler, TX; Rodney Folsom and wife Stacey of Ringling, OK; Lesa Lambert and husband Will of Ardmore, OK; and Amy Eubanks and husband Chris of Edmond, OK. He is also lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers are Dave Arnold, Will Lambert, Chris Eubanks, Ricky Reid, and Tony Phillips.

Honorary pallbearer is Riggs Price.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M. Monday evening at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Ringling.

The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers at Oakridge Home in Wewoka and Southbrook Home in Ardmore for their compassionate care and kindness to Derral in his final years.
