Ella Jean (Horn) Herell

Services for Ella Herell, 92, of Wilson, are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Thursday, January 22, 2026, at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson with her son-in-law, Mel Reinders officiating.

Ella Jean Herell was born September 21st, 1933 in Wilson to the late Mr. John Bell Horn and Mrs. Rhoda Elizabeth (Peck) Horn. Ella departed this life Sunday, January 18th in Bryan, Texas at her residence in The Isle of Watercrest.

 Ella was born and raised in Wilson and attended and graduated from Wilson Schools in May of 1951. She married Ted Herell May 29th, 1951. Together they were blessed with three children Brenda, Crisella, and Andy. Ella and Ted moved to Texas where they resided for many years before returning to Wilson for several years until Ted Passed. Ella moved to Bryan, Texas to be closer to her children where she resided until her death.

 Preceding her in death are her parents; husband Ted, brothers, Asa, Kenneth, J.B., Herbert, Almen Dell "Knox", and Henry Horn; sisters, Bertha Land, Lillie Haynes, Lola Cicia, Maudine Herrell, and Maxine Clark.

Ella is survived by her daughters, Brenda, Cris and son Andy, 11 grandchildren, 26 Great grandchildren, and 1 Great- Great grandchild.

Viewing and visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M., prior to service on Thursday, at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson.
