Mrs. Emma Jean (Emerson) Miller, age 89, of Wilson, Oklahoma, passed away on March 10, 2026, in Ardmore, Oklahoma. She was born on April 7, 1936, in Rexroat, Oklahoma, to the late V.B. "Dan" Emerson and Lila Estella (Thompson) Emerson.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jason Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Hewitt Cemetery.
Emma was a resident of Rexroat during her formative years, where she completed her high school education. On February 27, 1953, she entered into marriage with Billy Wayne Bolles, who predeceased her on March 16, 1988. Throughout her career, Emma worked at Kiddy Land, where she endeavored to provide her granddaughters with the finest clothing. She also held positions at Label Stable and ultimately retired from First National Bank. Emma had a passion for gardening, creating beautiful flower beds, and painting.
Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Billy Wayne Bolles; her second husband, James "Jim" Miller; her sisters, Sue Cantrell and Nell Price; and her great-grandson, Tristan Bolles.
She is survived by her son, Lynn Bolles; daughter, Brenda Davis; granddaughters, Melissa Brown, Jessica Smith, and Heather Weatherford; great-grandchildren, Evan Wilkinson, Faith Bolles-Murphy, Zoey Murphy, and Jace Johnson; great-great-granddaughters, Harper Mykel Burton and Raelynn Jade Sain; sisters, Kay Norton and Sharon Burel; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Pallbearers will include Evan Wilkinson, Hunter Burton, Tre Richardson, and Louis Weatherford.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.
