Gary Don Martin

Funeral services for Gary Don Martin, 80, will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, July 3, 2026, at the East Lincoln Church of Christ, officiated by Scott Renfro. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery, under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home, Healdton.

Born on July 21, 1945, in Sulphur, OK, to Estel Ray and Oleta Loral (Stockton) Martin, Gary passed away peacefully at his home in Healdton, OK, on June 29, 2026.

Raised in Fox, Gary graduated in 1963 and attended Murray State in Tishomingo. In 1965, he was drafted into the U.S. Army, where he served honorably as a cook until 1967. On March 16, 1968, he married Pat McCarty at Ratliff City Church of Christ. Gary's career in the oilfield included significant stints at Brady's Welding and the Atlantic Richfield Company, retiring from Vastar in the late 1990s as an electrician. He loved spending time at the lake, sharing his passion for water skiing with his family, and was a devoted attendee of his grandchildren's sporting events.

Due to the loss of his dad at the age of 2, he was preceded in death by his father, Ray Martin and his parents; Oleta and Bill Holbrook who became the only dad he knew; and by his siblings, Bob Alexander, Shirley Morris, Gene Martin, and Carol Harmon.

Gary is survived by his beloved wife, Pat Martin; his children, Kevin Martin (Kristie) and Kim Farris (Doug); his grandchildren, Sydney Fullerton, Lynsey Martin, Kamryn Martin, Daniel, Rylee, Payton, and Emily Farris; and a great-grandchild, Harper Fullerton. He also leaves behind bonus children Mika Tinline, Michelle Emberling, and Maci Tripp, along with bonus grandchildren, Jaxi and Tatum; his brother, Billy Holbrook and wife Terri; brother and sister in law, Dewayne and Wetona McCarty; and many cherished family members and friends.

Pallbearers are Lynn Hodges, Jim Harris, Daniel Farris, Zach Tripp, Barry Hickman, and Clint Blakemore.
