Harold Dale Lawrence

Healdton - Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Harold Dale Lawrence, 94, of Loco are scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022, at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Healdton with family and friends officiating. Interment will follow at Loco Cemetery.

Harold was born August 14, 1927, at Duncan to the late Mr. Roscoe Lawrence and Mrs. Cleta Viola (Hammond) Lawrence. He departed this life on Monday, Jan. 10, 2022, at his home in Loco.

Harold was raised in Loco where he graduated high school. He was drafted twice into the Unites States Army serving post WWII and during the Korean War. Harold married the former Ms. Lavern Phillips on Dec. 26, 1951, at Duncan. He worked all of his years as an oilfield entrepreneur and avid car salesman. Some would also say he was a professional bullshxxxx.....

Lavern preceded him in death on March 3, 2021. Since then, Harold has always tried to stay positive often telling jokes and visiting with everyone he came into contact with. He had a true love for people and making them feel happier in his presence. Harold loved collecting old cars and loved the town of Loco. He loved all of his friends and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.

In addition to his wife Lavern also preceding him were his parents; twin sister, Avanell Gunn and a granddaughter, Tera Keenan.

Survivors include his daughters, Susie McCurry and husband Dale and Linda Brewer and husband Jim, both of Loco; son, Gerald Lawrence and Ted Robinson of Marlow; grandchildren, Jason Brewer and wife Lori, Brandi Williams and husband Juan, Johnene Smith and husband Casey and Chris Fenton and wife Trina; 9 great grandchildren; numerous other family and friends.

Casket bearers will be Randy Weaver, Glen Knutson, Leroy Griffith, Lynn Thompson, Casey Smith, Jason Brewer and Tony Phillips.

Honorary bearers Mike Hoggard, Mike Whitehead, Darin Griffith and the remaining "Loco Store Breakfast Crew"

Family visitation will be Friday evening 6 to 8pm at Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Healdton.
