Helen Louise (Glenn) Ashley, 85, of Healdton, has departed this life on August 24, 2026, in Ardmore. Born on September 3, 1940, in Healdton to Jack Brister Glenn, Sr. and Elsie Anetha "Neat" (Owens) Glenn, Helen spent her early years in the Rexroat area and graduated from Rexroat School in 1958.

In 1972, Helen married Jerry Ashley in Gainesville, TX, and they recently celebrated 54 years of marriage. Known for her love of gardening and quilting, Helen cherished her time tending to her garden and creating quilts during the winter months.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her daughter-in-law Cathy Scribner, and brothers Johnny Dale Glenn, Sr., Thomas Wylie Glenn, Clarence Ray Glenn, Jack Brister Glenn, Jr., and Jimmy Lester Glenn.

Helen is survived by her devoted husband Jerry; son Brian Scribner of Healdton; brother Kenneth Glenn and wife Elaine of Healdton; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family members.
