Henry Lynn Tripp

Funeral services for Mr. Henry Lynn Tripp, 67, will be held 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Ardmore, officiated by Rev. Donny Custar. Interment will follow at Ringling Memorial Cemetery, under the care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ringling.

Born on September 30, 1958, in Ardmore, OK, to the late Narvel Cleo Tripp and Myrl Evelyn (Richardson) Tripp, Henry passed away on September 10, 2026, in Denton, TX. He grew up in Ringling and graduated with the class of 1976, where he was part of the first class to be state runners-up in football. After a brief period as a bricklayer, he enjoyed a 43-year career as a pipeline technician in the oilfield.

Henry was a dedicated OU Sooner fan and enjoyed fishing, especially for stripers, camping, and most importantly, spending time with his grandchildren at their events and at home.

He is survived by his sons, Travis and Zach Tripp (Maci); siblings, Jerry Tripp, Jim Tripp (Ginny), and Vereda Stewart (Wayne); grandchildren, McCray, McKynzie, Jaxi, and Tatum; and the mother of his sons, Kaye, along with her daughter and granddaughter, Paige, and Raelynn. He leaves behind numerous other family members and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, he is remembered fondly by many.

Pallbearers will be Chris Tripp, Rob Tripp, Clayton Stewart, Erik Ramon, Chris Stroud, and Trevor Richardson, with honorary bearers being his Texoma Pipeline Co-workers and Matt Morris.
