Isaac "Leo" Nelson, age 54, of Atoka, sadly departed this life on September 17, 2025, at his home. He was born on July 25, 1971, in Durant, Oklahoma, to the late Arnold "Duke" Nelson and Shirley Temple (Moore) King.

Leo was raised in Wilson and graduated from Calumet High School in 1989. He began his professional journey working in masonry alongside his father before transitioning to contract trucking, operating his own truck for various companies. In later years, Leo supported his brother, Jessie, in electrical work. His passions included hunting, fishing, and engaging in mechanical tasks.

Leo is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his siblings: Jessie Stephens, Cindy Stephens and Dennis Russell, and Lacey Cox (and her husband, Matthew). He leaves behind cherished nephew and niece, Dakota and Kinlee Cox, as well as numerous other nephews and nieces, including Jessie Stephens III, Kevin Stephens, Kyle Stephens, Chelesa Stephens, Phillip Jackson, Stephanie Morton, Casey Williams, Natajsha Martin, and Clayton Russell, and a special friend who has been there for him and family, Diane; along with a host of extended family and friends.

A visitation in memory of Leo is scheduled for Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.

His kindness and spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
