Ringling – Private burial services for Mr. Jack Wilson were held 3:00 PM Tuesday May 23, 2023, at the Wilson Family Cemetery within his Ranch in Ringling. Services were under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Ringling.
Jack was born as Edward Moore Wilson Dec. 21, 1932, at Oklahoma City to Mr. Boone Wilson and Mrs. Irene (Moore) Wilson. He found peace at last on Sunday morning, May 21, 2023, at the age of 90 years and 5 months.
From the time he left the hospital he was called Jack, they returned soon after and he lived his entire life on a place that made him very happy. Jack attended High School at Ringling and then college at Oklahoma A&M, which is now OSU. The draft was waiting, and he served two years in Korea. Soon after returning home from Korea, he met the former Miss Barbara Burden at the annual school picnic, and a year later they were married. Together they raised two children, Curt and Amy.
Jack loved his work.....and was privileged to serve as director for what is now known as Ag Credit Bank for 31 years. He was a Christian gentleman, being a member of the Lord’s Church for many years. Of all the great things he had accomplished, he was most proud of overseeing the construction of the Church of Christ with his good friend JD Jones.
Jack is survived by his wife, Barbara of the home; daughter, Amy Hubbard and husband Greg; son, Curt Wilson and wife Kim; grandson, Jake Hubbard and wife Erin along with their children, Oliver and Ember; granddaughter, Allie Thompson and husband Ty, along with their child, Hollis Kate.
