James entered this life on January 11, 1945, in Foster, OK, to Elmer Brooksey Tow and Edith Belinda (Ruth) Pittman. He departed this life May 18, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.

A lifelong learner and dedicated professional, James' journey began in Doyle, where he was raised and completed his education, graduating with the class of 1963. In 1965, James relocated to Oklahoma City, embarking on a career in the sheet metal industry. Starting humbly by sweeping floors at a sheet metal company, his dedication and skill quickly propelled him through the ranks to a management position after completing an apprenticeship. Demonstrating a passion for sharing knowledge, James simultaneously taught the sheet metal trade to vocational students at a local high school, preparing the next generation for success in the field. On June 2, 1976, James married Ms. Rocille Wooldridge in Las Vegas, and together, they made their home in Ratliff City. James' entrepreneurial spirit led him to open Superior Sheet Metal in Duncan, Oklahoma. James alongside his father-in-law, Robert Wooldridge, began farming and ranching. James treasured life on the farm, embracing the simple joys of rural living and the companionship of his family and trusted dogs. Under his guidance, the business flourished until he decided to close it and transition into the oil and gas sector. His expertise found a new home at Arrow Pump and Supply, and in June 1989, James joined M&M Supply. His extensive experience in the oilfield industry was instrumental in transforming M&M Supply into the regional powerhouse it is recognized as today. After a distinguished career, James retired in 2015, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and leadership. He was known as the “go-to guy,” admired for his versatility and willingness to help others. James was a beloved member of his community. He found great pleasure in spending time with friends and cherished moments on the golf course with his son. He enjoyed time at the lake, fishing with his family, and his favored pass time was garage sitting where he visited with his family and friends, sharing stories and giving great advice. Known for his big heart and strong sense of pride, James took special care in his appearance, always paying attention to his jewelry and hair, a testament to his personal style and confidence. His contributions to his family, community, and industry will be remembered and cherished.
