Ardmore
Cremation services for Jeff Alan Schoolfield, 70, of Ardmore, are scheduled with Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson. Jeff passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 6, 2026, in Ardmore.
Jeff was born on November 14, 1955, in Oklahoma City to the late Jack Schoolfield and Patricia Ann (Kruse) Schoolfield. Raised in the Del City area, he moved to Tuttle during his adolescence, graduating from Tuttle High School in 1974. After high school, he joined the United States Army, where he served honorably for three years. Following his military service, Jeff worked in the private sector in Alaska before returning to Oklahoma.
In Oklahoma, Jeff pursued a career as an auto parts specialist in aftermarket automotive parts retail, eventually becoming assistant branch manager at the Ardmore O'Reilly Auto Parts Store. He found joy in his work every day. On December 12, 1988, Jeff married Ginger Thompson in Chickasha, and they enjoyed many wonderful years together. He loved duck hunting with his brother, fishing, reloading ammunition, and spending time on his boat. More recently, he took up gardening, canning, and beekeeping, while also enjoying "honey-do" projects for his beloved wife.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Judy Roland.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Ginger; daughter, Elena Segroves, and her husband Ty of Lone Grove; sister, Susan Marbach, and her husband Lee of Indiana; brother, Paul Schoolfield, and his wife Maria of Locust Grove, OK; granddaughter, Eva Segroves; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family.
