Jerry was born January 9, 1940, at Pauls Valley, OK, to the late Mr. Cumbie Kinard and Mrs. Mary Tennessee (Smith) Kinard. He departed this life Friday, April 12, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Ardmore.

Jerry was raised in Wynnewood where he attended school graduating with the High School Class of 1958. He then served nearly four years in the United States Marine Corp. Jerry then lived in California where he was employed at Lockheed Martin, and he married the former Miss Tanya Tiexiera. The couple was blessed with three children. After becoming hurt on the job, Jerry decided to move back home to the Wynnewood area in search of work. He found employment on the Diamond D Ranch which brought him to the Wilson area in 1976. In 1981, Jerry married Ms. Loretta Newfield. To this union he was blessed with two more children and together they made their home on the ranch. With two unsuccessful marriages, Jerry married one last time in 1991, to Barbara Sizemore and after 20 years of marriage, they divorced which led to him moving back home where he began working as a Maintenance Man, for the Black Gold Casino and Travel Plaza in Wilson. After six years, Jerry made the decision to retire and spend all of his time with his grandchildren and other family. He liked to visit the casinos and he helped with all of the grandkids, taking them to appointments and driving them wherever they needed to go. Jerry was a patient and kind man with so much love for his family and friends. He attended and supported every family event and showed loved to those around him in a way that you could not distinguish who was blood related and who was not.
