Ringling - Graveside services for Jonathan Graydon Beck, 26 Mansfield, TX are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Ringling Memorial Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ringling.
Jonathan was born October 21, 1994 in San Jose, CA to Stephen Louis Beck, Jr and Heather Alicia (Giomi) Rumsey. He departed from this life on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 in Burleston, TX.
Jonathan grew up in San Jose, CA and was schooled at Achier Christian and played baseball and went to the beach almost daily with his older brother, Christopher and his mother. He resided in Almaden area until the family moved to Littleton, CO in 2001. Jonathan then attended Powderhorn Elementary and was active in soccer, football, snowboarding and Boy Scouts. He and his family then moved to Arlington, TX in 2006 where he continued football at Summit High School. Jonathan spent his last 2 years and graduated from James Martin High School. Jonathan had a wide range of interests and was extremely intelligent. When he wasn't sure what to major in, he worked for a company to which he was trained to be an electrician and worked as an electrician for the last 6 years.
Preceding him in death was his beloved grandfather, Ronald Giomi and loving aunt Kathryn.
Jonathan leaves behind his older brother, Christopher Beck and wife Miranda of Castle Piney, CO; sisters, Genevieve Beck of Mansfield, TX, Karlee Gutierrez and husband Danny of Fort Worth, TX and their 5 children, his beloved nieces and nephews; Presley King and husband Mason of Arlington, TX, Kylie Rumsey and husband Vincent of Mansfield, TX and their daughter who was adored by Jonathan. In addition to his siblings, he is survived by his mother Heather Rumsey and step father, Ron Rumsey of Mansfield, TX; father, Stephen Beck of Arlington, TX; grandmother, Meg Gast of California; uncle, Ryan and wife Alicia and their 7 children; uncle Vincent of California; paternal grandma, Glenna Nickerson; and by many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
Jonathan was the kindest, most thoughtful, well mannered young man whom will be sorely missed but because of his belief in God, we will see him again one day.
Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6-8 P.M. at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ringling.
