Kathleen Evetta Lincoln, 79, of Durant, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on August 25,2024, at Alliance Health Durant hospital. She was born on June 17, 1945, at Tecumseh, Oklahoma, to the late Ross W. Lincoln and Laura (Hollingsworth) Lincoln.
Kathleen spent her early years in Tecumseh where she graduated with the class of 1963. Her professional journey began at Roundhouse, where she contributed to the production of Roundhouse Overalls in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Later in her career, she became a talented nail technician and worked alongside her daughter, Sharla, who was a licensed cosmetologist. Kathleen had a passion for sewing and was known for making custom shirts for renowned country music artists. Additionally, she dedicated many years of service to the Circle W Ballroom in Seminole.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved daughter Sharla (May 24, 2008), and her brother Johnny Lincoln.
Kathleen's loving memory is cherished by her surviving family: her daughter, Kristi Whatley and husband Stacy of Kingston; her son, Kevin Lincoln and wife Sherri of Seminole, OK; one generic son, Jeff Everett of Tecumseh, OK; her sister, Carolyn Jo Lincoln and husband Jack Kieffer of Tecumseh; her grandchildren, Heather McCullough, Kevin Chance Lincoln, Kody Whatley, Kaitlyn Wright, Shelbie McNeill, and Kadyn Reese; as well as her great-grandchildren, Alexia, Jace, Jaxon, Chase, Jasper, Memphis, McKenna, Lela Jo, Nolan, Owen, Dylan, Emerson, and Houston. She is also remembered by numerous other family members and friends.
