Leslie was born on March 25, 1957, in Wilson, Oklahoma, to the late Perch and Colleen Joan King. From the very beginning, she was full of life, proudly named after Lavonia Dillard. She left this world April 3, 2026, with a heart eager to be reunited with her beloved husband, Steve.

Leslie was raised in Ringling, where she graduated from Ringling High School in 1975. She married the love of her life and best friend, Steve Price, on December 7, 1988. Together, they made their home west of Lone Grove, where they raised three wonderful children and were blessed with nine grandchildren.

After high school, Leslie attended cosmetology school and spent much of her younger years enjoying time with her lifelong best friend, Kennita Miller. She had a deep love for basketball and often shared stories of just how good she was at the game.

After the birth of her daughter Stacey, Leslie fulfilled her dream of becoming a stay-at-home mom. She often spoke about how God blessed her with a built-in best friend in her baby girl. Later in life, she went to work at Walmart, where she would say she was “just a cashier,” her coworkers would all agree she was so much more. Leslie was a true people person, and the job fit her perfectly.

When her grandchildren came along, Leslie chose to retire and dedicate her time to them. Being surrounded by family and friends is when she was truly happiest. She was blessed with some of the best friends anyone could ask for and cherished her evening porch visits with her “Becca girl,” as well as lunch dates with Kennita, Ginger, and Becky.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Perch and Colleen King; her mother- and father-in-law, Jerry and Patsy Price; her sister, Carolyn Burnette; baby sister Susan King; her brother-in-law, Kerry Miller; numerous aunts and uncles; and her bonus grandson, Cole Evans.
