Funeral services for Lindsay Rachelle Price, 43, of Marietta, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, September 16, 2024, at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson, with Brandon Freeman officiating. Interment will follow at Lone Grove Cemetery.
Lindsay was born on August 9, 1981, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to Kerry Ray Miller and Lisa Gail (Price) Miller. During the early morning hours of September 10, 2024, Lindsay Rachelle Price, tragically lost her life.
A graduate of Lone Grove High School, Class of 1999, Lindsay pursued her passion in cosmetology while also working at Circuit City Warehouse for several years. Her career included positions at Weber Aircraft and providing care as a CNA in a nursing home. Lindsay took great joy in attending her children’s sporting events and cherished family camping trips. She had a vibrant personality, full of humor, and loved engaging in arts and crafts.
She was feisty and outspoken, and she would not hesitate to brag on her boys! Lindsay will be remembered by her loved ones with her beautiful smile, contagious laugh, quick wit, and sense of humor. As the saying goes, cousins are your 1st best friends; this holds truth as far as Lindsay and Kara were concerned. The two of them got into whatever trouble and mischief you could think of, along Cottonwood creek. They played dress up in Granny’s clothes, and performed many songs and made-up skits for Granny and Pop. Lindsay adored her baby sister, Brianna. The two of them were best friends. For 25 years of life, they didn’t use their first names, but affectionately referred to one another as “sister!” Lindsay and her mother, Lisa Miller grew up together. Lisa will tell you, she is my first born, wild-child! As life happened, Lisa’s unconditional love for her baby girl never waivered.
Lindsay is preceded in death by her two favorite people in the world, Jerry and Patsy Price. “Granny and Pop” Lindsay spent most of young childhood days connected to her Pop’s hip. She was often accused of being his favorite by her sister and cousins; rightfully so. Also preceding her is, her father, and her uncle, Steve Price.
Lindsay is survived by her three sons, Seth, Payton and Parker Price with fiancée Reagan; her mother Lisa Miller. Lindsay's most proud accomplishment were her three sons. They were her joy. Also surviving is her sister, Brianna Shorter and husband, Bradley; her aunt, Leslie Price; her niece, Brylee Shorter; her nephew, Cole Shorter; cousins, Kara Idleman, Kevin Price and Stacey Healey; numerous other relatives, and friends.
Pallbearers will include Seth Price, Payton Price, Parker Price, Bradley Shorter, Kevin Price, and Matt Struble.
Visitation will be held on Sunday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.
