Margie Lenora Williams

January 11, 1925 — June 3, 2025

Healdton

Healdton - Home Going Services for Margie Lenora (Brock) Williams, aged 100, will be held on Monday, June 9, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Ringling. The service will be officiated by her son, Rev. Mike Williams. Following the service, interment will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Ardmore. The arrangements are under the care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Healdton.

Margie peacefully passed away at her home on June 3, 2025. She was born on January 11, 1925, in Berwyn, Oklahoma (now known as Gene Autry), to Marion Jackson Brock and Gertrude Rambo Brock. Margie married Mescal “Mac” Williams in Columbia, South Carolina, on August 20, 1943. Mac served overseas with the Signal Battalion during World War II, and they cherished the 57 years they spent together until his passing in 2000.

Together, they owned and operated Healdton Electric and enjoyed traveling throughout the country. While Mac's health eventually limited their travels, Margie continued to pursue her love for exploration independently, visiting all 50 states and traveling to Europe, Mexico and Canada.

In her vibrant centenarian years, Margie remained active and welcoming to visitors in her home. She enjoyed classic movies, following sports—particularly the Oklahoma Sooners—and attending church weekly. Her passion for games such as Bridge and Spades extended well into her 90s. Margie lived by the Golden Rule, which she embraced as her life's motto, and she deeply cherished her family.

Margie is preceded in death by her beloved husband Mescal, her parents, and her sister, Mildred Cullins. She is survived by her sons, Kelly and his wife Betty (Huber) Williams, and Mike and his wife Jackie (Stewart) Williams; six granddaughters, including Leigh Anne Stephenson; Kimberly Jane Kirkland and her husband Jonny; Patti Sue Chester and her husband Todd; Katherine Kelly Meador and her husband Michael; Holly Marie McElhaney and her husband Cody; and April Dawn Sullivan and her husband Kyle. Margie also leaves behind fourteen great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren, as well as her brother, Jimmy Ray Brock, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Casket bearers will include Jonny Kirkland, Todd Chester, Michael Meador, Mackenzie Stephenson, Austin Stidham, Brock Meador, Luke Thrasher, and Grayson Barrett.

Honorary Bearers are Junior Ogle and the past employees of Healdton Electric.

Family visitation is scheduled for Sunday from 4 to 6 PM at Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Healdton.

Donations may be made to the Baptist Home for Girls, located at 13976 Anthony Ln, Madill, OK 73446.
