Marilyn was born January 7, 1967, at Ardmore, to the late Mr. David Clarence “Sonny” Haymes, Jr. and Mrs. Mary Magdeline “Cisero” Haymes. She departed this life Monday, November 3, 2025, at Oklahoma City.
Marilyn's remarkable journey began in the small town of Leon, where she attended school, later attending Turner schools. Marilyn was a devoted mother to her three beloved sons. After retiring from her esteemed career, Marilyn made the decision to move to Oklahoma City, where she continued to thrive until her passing. Marilyn had a zest for life that was evident in her many hobbies. She found joy and freedom riding her motorcycle, often embracing the open road with exhilaration. Additionally, her green thumb flourished in her garden, where she spent countless hours nurturing her plants and enjoying nature's beauty. Above all, she cherished her time with her grandchildren, creating lasting memories and sharing her love with them unconditionally.
