Mary Ann (Collins) Wallace

Graveside services for Mary Ann (Collins) Wallace, 61, of Ringling, are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Orr Cemetery with Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ringling.

Mary Ann was born May 2, 1962, to the late Mr. Nathaniel Collins, Jr. and Mrs. Lavita (Woods) Collins. She departed this life January 3, 2024 at her home in Ringling.

Mary Ann was raised in Sulphur where she attended school, graduating with the class of 1980. She married Lonnie Ray Wallace, Jr. December 12, 1981, in Sulphur. Mary Ann went on to further her education in Cosmetology and began her career working at the Mane Cut in Ringling. She later opened her own Beauty Shop on Main Street in 1994 called the Snappie Scizzor. Mary Ann loved to cook and had a knack for refurbishing old furniture. She had a great sense of humor and was loved by so many.

Preceding her in death are her parents; brother, John Collins; sisters, Nancy Morgan and Margaret Collins; fathers in law, Lonnie Wallace, Sr. and Boyd Melton; nephew, Justin Duncan.

Survivors include her husband, Lonnie "Alan" Wallace of the home; daughter, Brandy White and husband Derrick; son, Derek Wallace; grandchildren, Noah White, Chaselynn Wallce, and Carsyn Wallace; sisters-in-law, Shawna Duncan and husband Ralph and Betty collins; nieces and nephews, Jared, Taylar, Christopher, Clayton, Nathan, James, and Krysten; numerous other family and many friends.
