Mary Lois Lockwood

Funeral services for Ms. Mary Lois Lockwood, age 93, a longtime resident of Ringling and formerly of Ardmore, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Ringling First Baptist Church. The service will be officiated by Reverend Mike Williams, with interment to follow at Ringling Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ringling. In honor of Mary's favorite color, purple, attendees are kindly requested to wear purple as a tribute to her memory.

Mary Lois Lockwood was born on April 30, 1933, in Center Pointe, Oklahoma, to the late Cecil Erwin Lockwood and Eula Maude (Barnes) Lockwood. She peacefully passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026, in Duncan, Oklahoma.

Raised in Ringling, Mary graduated from Ringling High School in 1949. She devoted much of her career as an optometry assistant at Dr. Clay’s office in Ardmore. A devoted member of Ringling First Baptist Church, Mary was cherished by all her nieces and nephews as a beloved aunt.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Mozelle Lockwood Wilson (Jack) and Inez Lockwood; brothers J.D. Lockwood (Joyce) and Joe Lockwood (Mary Lou); and nephews Jerry D. Lockwood (Martha), Joe Ed Lockwood (Karen), Steve Billingsley, and Scott Billingsley.

Mary is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, and a host of dear friends who will fondly remember her.

A visitation in the form of a Tea Party will be held on Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ringling.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kyle Sullivan, Luke Thrasher, Grayson Barrett, Thad Kassheimer, Alex Mexicano, and Ino Mexicano.  Mike Faulkner will serve as an honorary bearer.
