Wilson – Funeral Services for Mrs. Masil Ailene (Butch) Mann, 89 of Wilson are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson with Reverend Jason Williams and Reverend David Gardner officiating. Interment will follow at Hewitt Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.
Masil was born March 30, 1936 in Elkhart, Kansas to the late Mr. Paul Bentley Hall and Mrs. Melissa Ailene (Randle) Hall. She departed from this life on Monday, September 22, 2025 at Mercy Hospital in Healdton, Oklahoma.
Masil was raised in Kansas, graduating from Sylvia High School in 1954. She worked during her teenage years at the local café there to help with things at home. She also waitressed at other places and cooked for many oilfield hands at the Dillard Grocery.
On March 6, 1955, three days after Keith completed his naval service, they were united in marriage in Pamona, California. They lived in Kansas for 5 years where Keith’s oilfield career began. In 1956, Tresa was born, followed by twins, Janet and Jack in 1958. In 1960, they were transferred with Shell Oil Company to Dillard, Oklahoma where they made their home.
Mom always attended her kids activities, working where needed in concession stands, on Homecoming floats or helping with animals in FFA/4H. She cooked many meals for families and always welcomed people in her home. Mom made “homemade” butter for teacher gifts while her kids attended school. They were continuous supporters of the Wilson FFA Chapter.
Mom loved that she was able to help families who lost loved ones, the Snow and Watson Families who became “Family” to her. She loved her family, nieces, nephews and all, especially the random surprise visits from Ann. She insisted on going to “her Kayse” the night she went to the hospital.
Raiden Jackson was a blessing to her, always bringing joy and a big smile. On weekends, when Ryan came to her house, she loved listening to him sing.
Mom was Dad’s caregiver, after his diagnoses with Alzheimer’s, for over 10 years, dedicating many hours every day to making sure he was given the best care and always everything he needed and more. She was a hard worker and always provided for the needs of others.
The Family wants to express love and gratitude for the continuous compassionate care from; Traditions Home Health, her great niece Rhea Buycks, PA-C, Kayse and McKotah Smith, plusmany others who loved and cared for her.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Paul Bentley and Melissa Ailene Hall; husband Keith Lewis “Jack” Mann, of 66 years, 7 months and 1 day on October 7, 2021; brother, Tom Hall (Ada); sisters, Maxine Hultman, Nadine Hunt (Bill) and Lavonne Smith; grandson, Jack “PeeWee” Mann, Jr. on October 15, 2022; parents in law, Ralph and Agnes (Watchoske) Mann and sister in law and brother in law, Lorrine and Lavon Thompson.
Survivors include her loving children, Tresa Carlile and husband Pete of Wilson, Janet Goates and husband Mark of Solgohachia, Arkansas and Jack Mann and wife Renee of Wilson; brother in law, Ezra Smith; special daughter, Debbie Derrick Jennings and her late husband Paul; grandchildren, Sharla, Sonya, Amy, Jody, Amber, and Robin; 23 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.
Casket bearers are Sharla Carlile, Rodney Wharton, Ryan Carlile, Jody Goates, Collin Wharton, Terrell Tucker, Billy Joe Wilkinson and McKotah Smith.
Family visitation will be held at 12:30 PM Saturday, prior to the service at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson.
