Megan Leeann Jenkins

Healdton- Megan Leeann (Dorough) Jenkins, age 39, passed away Tuesday evening March 10, 2026, at Purcell. She was born Feb 26, 1987, in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Charles Lee Dorough and Shirley (Willson) Underwood. Viewing and Visitation services with cremation following will be held at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel at Healdton at 2pm - 4pm, on Sunday March 15, 2026. Funeral services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home Crematory.

Megan was born and raised in Chickasha and Comanche, Oklahoma where she developed a deep passion for music and sports. She found joy in playing the drums and basketball, and her vibrant spirit shone through during car karaoke sessions, where she would sing with enthusiasm.

Megan's warmth and love for those around her were evident to all who knew her. She had a special fondness for the fall season, eagerly anticipating Halloween and all things spooky. A proud graduate of Comanche High School, she completed her studies with the class of 2005 and subsequently dedicated herself to her community by working various jobs in Comanche.

Megan's heart was filled with love, especially for her nieces and nephews, who brought her immense joy as she embraced her role as a devoted aunt. On June 17, 2016, she married Dale Jenkins at the beautiful Lake Murray Chapel, and together they created a loving home in Healdton.

Professionally, Megan thrived as a supervisor machinist for Kerr Pumps in Sulphur, where she worked for the past four years. She was known for her strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.

In her personal life, Megan cherished her beloved dog, who added an extra dose of happiness to her days. As we remember Megan, we celebrate the love, laughter, and kindness she shared with everyone around her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered in our hearts.

Megan is survived by her father, Charles “Chuck” Dorough, her husband of the home, Dale Jenkins, children Alicia Mclaughlin (Kalen), Dilon Jenkins (Rachel), Cayson Jenkins, Rosalee Jenkins, sister Melissa Richmond, brother, Clay Dorough, (Sarah Hamilton), granddaughter Lakelynn Jenkins, nieces and nephews, Maverick Hamilton-Dorough, Alexis Dorough, Dremaine Dorough, Chance Dorough, Makayla Richmond, Tesla Richmand, Rebel Richmand, and Andrew Haddaway, numerous other family, coworkers and friends.

Pallbearers are Cayson Jenkins, Dilon Jenkins, Rebel Richmond, Chance Dorough, Dremaine Dorough, Brandon Hunt.
