Services for Melissa (Blakley) Williams, of Wilson, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson. Interment will follow at Jimtown Cemetery.

Melissa was born June 16, 1965, in Ardmore, Oklahoma to James and Barbara (Willis) Blakley. She went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 16, 2025, at the age of 59 years and 11 months.


Melissa was raised in Wilson, Oklahoma and graduated from Wilson high school. She started her adult life taking some accounting courses after which she did bookkeeping for various businesses including Higgins Interiors in Gene Autry, Oklahoma. From there, she moved back to Wilson and was elected City Clerk for a short time before going to work at Wilson Auto supply for her dad learning from him all there is to know and understand about parts. She truly loved working there but more than this, she loved fishing with him.


Melissa had two sons, James Williams and Blaze Hacker, and they were her life. She was also blessed with a granddaughter, Lyndee Williams, whom she loved dearly.


Preceded her in death are grandparents Jim Ed & Flossy (Harris) Blakley and Willard & Lois (McFadden) Willis.


Survivors include her parents, James and Barbara Blakley, children, James Williams and Blaze Hacker; sister Marleen and David Adams; Twin sister Michele and Dusty Weatherford; Nephews Brian Wilkinson and Dusty Weatherford, nieces Skyler (Wesley) Holman and Charli Weatherford, and numerous other great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and acquaintances.


Pallbearers Lany Buck, Levi Shepard, Jason Hall, James Williams, Dusty Weatherford, Jarad Don Dillard.


Honorary Paul bears Gianna Hacker, Stacey Erm, Kristy Battles, Shannon Smith, Brian Wilkinson, Jimmy Shaw, Terry Henry and Chris White.

Visitation will be held from 6-8PM, Tuesday evening at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson.
