Services for Micky Morris, 71, of Ringling, will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 13, 2024, at the First Baptist Church in Ringling with Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Interment will follow at the Ringling Memorial Cemetery. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ringling.
Micky was born June 30, 1952, at Gainesville, TX to Mr. Emmitt Travis Morris and Mrs. Patsy Louise (Longest) Morris. He departed this life Monday, January 8, 2024, in Healdton.
Micky was raised in Ringling where he attended school, graduating with the class of 1970. He went on to further his education at Cameron University and then at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Micky married the former Ms. Vickie Whitsett and the couple made their home in Ringling where they raised their two children, Scotty and Missy. He was employed for Uniroyal/Michelin Tire Plant for a couple of years before beginning his lifelong career as an Independent Welder. Later in life, Micky married Melissa Freeman who preceded him in death in June of 2018. He loved hunting, fishing, and enjoyed shooting pool and target shooting at his house with his family and friends.
Also preceding him in death are his father, Emmitt Morris and his, sister, Marci Morris.
Survivors include his children, Scott Alan Morris and wife Kimberly of Norman and daughter, Missy Thompson and husband Larry of Ringling; mother, Pat Morris of Ringling; brothers, Mark Morris and wife Cindy and Matt Morris and wife Dawn all of Ringling; grandchildren, Brittany Stubblefield, Dylan Morris, Clay Morris, and Cole Morris; great grandchildren, Eli McKay, L.J. Stubblefield, and Dakson Stubblefield; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.
Pallbearers will be Dylan Morris, Clay Morris, Cole Morris, Barrett Morris, Dalton Morris, and Chris Morris.
Honorary bearers are his 3 great grandchildren, Eli, L.J, and Dakson, Ryan Morris, Larry Snell, and Bruce Williams.
Family visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M. Friday evening at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Ringling.
