Misty Dawn Ragland

Funeral services for Misty Dawn (Biggs) Ragland, 45, of Ardmore, Oklahoma, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Generations Church in Ardmore, with Pastor Jeremy Berryhill officiating. Interment will follow at Keller Cemetery in Wilson. Arrangements are entrusted to Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson. Visitation will take place on Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Misty passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her beloved family. She was born on September 16, 1980, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Herbert Kevin Dawson and Tina Melvina (Biggs) Dawson.

Misty was raised primarily in Pawhuska, where she graduated from Pauls Valley High School in 1998. Shortly after graduation, Misty welcomed her first son, Gavin, in 1999. She then moved to Hemet, California, where she spent four years and welcomed another son, Mason. In 2002, Misty returned to Oklahoma, settling in Ardmore and later having a daughter, Alyssa.

Misty's professional life included her time at OpenGate Technologies, which also brought her two bonus daughters, Chesleigh and Kena. She cherished watching all her children grow and participate in sports. In 2023, Misty found the love of her life in Dustin Ragland, and they were united in marriage on June 24, 2024, where she gained another precious daughter, Lyla. Misty took great joy in being part of a family with six children, engaging in activities like camping, spending time on the water, and enjoying binge-watching shows.

Throughout her life, Misty was dedicated to ministry work and actively contributed to various nonprofit organizations. She found immense pleasure in traveling with her sisters in Christ, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Misty is preceded in death by her mother, Tina, who passed away on March 12, 2021. She is survived by her husband, Dustin Ragland; her father, Herbert Dawson; her children: Gavin Apala and wife Brooklynn, Mason Apala and wife Treasure, Alyssa Morse and husband Noah, Chesleigh Apala, Kena Apala, and Lyla Ragland; her siblings, Kevin Dawson and wife Felicia, and Myra Dawson; as well as four grandchildren: Koda Apala, Nora Apala, Vivian Morse, and Lorelie Apala. She is also survived by a host of extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will include Kevin Dawson, Billy Turner, Bill Moore, J.W. Hart, Matt Sessions, and Johnny Washburn.
