Funeral services for Mrs. Nadine "Doby" (Nipp) Goode, 87, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, October 12, 2026, at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Jim McGaughy, followed by interment at Simon Cemetery.

Nadine was born on July 8, 1939, to Con and Jessie Pearl (Powell) Nipp. She passed away on October 7, 2026, in Wilson, OK. Raised in Simon, she graduated from Meadowbrook and married A.J. Goode on November 26, 1958, in Gainesville, TX. Together, they settled in Wilson, raising four sons: C.J., James, Duffy, and Miles. In 1969, they built their family home south of Wilson, where Nadine was a devoted housewife and mother.

In 1976, Nadine pursued LPN classes at Vo Tech, graduating in 1977, and worked in various nursing homes and doctors' offices, and in 1981 obtaining her registered nurse's degree.  She later became the administrator of home health services at Jefferson County Hospital, eventually founding Good Healthcare Professionals in 1993. Nadine operated the business until her retirement in 2022. She took joy in raising cattle, gardening, and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, A.J. Goode, in 2014; son, James Goode, in 1979; sisters Paralee Russell, Meady Mae Vernon, Elnora Phillips, Oleta Self, and infant sister Ida Doreen Nipp; and brothers Claude, Charles "Pretty Boy", Clyde, John, and Gene Nipp.

Surviving her are her sons, C.J. Goode and his wife Suzanne, Duffy Goode, and Miles Goode; sisters Lorene Montgomery, Carolyn Westmoreland, and Linda Sue Williams with husband Warren; brothers Conver Nipp, Donnie Nipp with wife Jeannie, and Curtiss Nipp with wife Brenda. Her cherished grandchildren are James, Brock (Cass), Cullen, Dustin (Sarah), Cory, Emilee (Will), Olivia (Dillan), Sahvanna (Zach), Haden, and Isabella; along with 5 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Goode, Cory Goode, James Goode, Brock Goode, Cullen Goode, and Haden Goode. Honorary bearers include David Hull, as well as her nieces and nephews.

Visitation is scheduled for Sunday evening, 5-7 P.M., at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.
