Nancy Jo (Gunter) Aly

Services for Nancy Jo (Gunter) Aly, 81, of Ardmore, Oklahoma, will be 2 P.M. Monday March 2026, at Rexroat Baptist Church with Jim Mays officiating. Interment will follow at Keller Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home.

Nancy was born on October 22, 1944, in Carter County to Joseph Roscoe and Bernice Gunter. Nancy went to be with our Lord and Savior Saturday March 14, 2026.

Nancy was one of 15 children including Margie Ware (James), Velma (Cricket) Reeder (Chink), Mary Lynn Stanley (Jack), Janice Cartwright (Bennie), Roscoe Gunter Jr. (Frieda), Jim Gunter (Mary Ann), Bobby Gunter (Eileen), Ronald (Tuffy) Gunter, Athella "Thela" Gunter, Larry Gunter (Nancy Belle), Jerry Gunter (Coleen), Beverley McMillan (Phil) and two infant children Billy and Joyce.

Nancy attended Rexroat School during her formative years and transferred to Wilson School upon Rexroat’s closing. She graduated from Wilson High School, where she excelled in academics and basketball.

Nancy married her high school sweetheart Ronald Renzelman. Together they had a son Stanley. The marriage ended and Nancy in 1975 married Aly. They remained married until his passing.

Nancy is survived by her son: Stan, daughter-in-law Linda Renzelman and her grandchildren, Jessica and Dale Renzelman; siblings, Jim Gunter, Ronald Gunter, Bobby Gunter, Larry Gunter, Athella Gunter, and Beverley McMillan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Joseph Roscoe and Bernice, husband; Aly, sisters; Velma (Cricket), Margie, Janice and Mary Lynn, and her brothers; Roscoe and Jerry.

Nancy was remarkably close with her brothers and sisters. She was also close to her nieces, Brenda Alexander and Rachel Bone. She loved her daughter-in-law Linda and her grandchildren Jessica and Dale attending many of their sporting events when they were growing up.

Nancy was an extraordinarily strong woman who dominated a male oriented industry, the brokerage business. During her 40-plus year career, she rose to the level of Senior Vice President. In this role, she helped many young women achieve success in the same business.

She was a very loving mother, wife, grandmother, sister, and friend. Nancy will be missed by all who knew her.
