Oleta Maxine Sessions

Funeral services for Oleta Maxine (Jackson) Sessions, aged 68, will take place at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson, with Paul Jackson and Billy Holder officiating. Interment will follow at Ringling Memorial Cemetery.

Born on January 18, 1958 in Wilson, OK, to J. M. and Louise (Shaw) Jackson, Oleta departed this life on July 9, 2026, in Marlow, OK.

Raised in Ringling, Oleta graduated in 1976 and furthered her studies at Oklahoma University School of Pharmacy, earning a Pharm.D. degree. She dedicated over 20 years to serving her community at Minyard Pharmacy in Mesquite, TX. Oleta cherished her family deeply and was always ready to offer her support. Her love for the outdoors was evident in her passion for lakefronts, gardening, travel, music, and cooking.

Oleta was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, William and Ola Jackson, and Truman and Faye Shaw; brother, Dean Jackson and his wife Teri; nephew, Scott Turner; and Berry Sessions, the father of her sons.

She is survived by her three sons: Matt Sessions and wife Monica, Clae Sessions and wife Brunya, and Reid Sessions; her cherished grandson, Zane Sessions; brothers, Wayne Jackson with wife Diane, and Gary Jackson; sisters, Mary (Sissy) Palmer with husband Vance, and Ruby Cox; and numerous extended family members and friends.

Pallbearers will include Matt Sessions, Clae Sessions, Reid Sessions, Zane Sessions, Wayne Jackson, and Vance Palmer.
