Ricky Ray Jones

Ricky "Rick" Ray Jones, aged 69, passed away on November 30, 2025, in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Born on May 16, 1956, in Duncan, Oklahoma, he was the son of Truman Jones and Nancy Sue (Blackburn) Singleterry.

Rick was raised in Ratliff City and attended school with the class of 1975 from Fox High School. He dedicated his career to the oilfield industry, retiring as a down hole tool expert from Baker Hughes, where he was internationally recognized for his expertise.

Rick cherished quality time spent with his children and grandchildren, and he had a deep-seated passion for traveling and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

He is preceded in death by his father, Truman Jones, and sister, Vickie Jones. Rick is survived by his mother, Nancy Singleterry of Healdton; his children, Kelsie Araujo and Cameron Jones (Aidan), both of Bakersfield, California; grandchildren Kaydence Jones, Kannon Jones, Nixin Araujo, and Zaydin McDonald; as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Healdton, officiated by Rev. Mike Johnston. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery.
