Robert Brent Meeker

Cremation services for Robert Brent Meeker, 58, of Ardmore, are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home and Crematory.

He departed this life Friday, September 8, 2023, at Mercy Hospital of Ardmore. Inurnment services will be scheduled for a later date and will be held at Oswalt Cemetery.

Brent was born August 23, 1965, at Ardmore to George S. Meeker and Wilma Celestine Gray.

Brent was raised at Ardmore where he attended school. He worked as a Chef, most of his working years, within the Ardmore area. Brent was a wonderful cook, and he was an avid reader. He attended college in Oklahoma City. Brent was of the Jewish Faith.

Preceding him in death are his grandparents, J.B., and Aleta (Cox) Gray; aunts, Jackie Henderson and uncles, J.B. Gray and Randy Gray.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Celestine Gray Ritter, and Glen Ritter of Ardmore; brothers, Richard Chad Carroll and Aaron Boaz, both of Ardmore; stepbrothers, Lester, Allen, Roger, and Terry; aunts and uncles, Pat, Loretta, Linda, Rickey, and Greg; numerous other family and friends.
