Rocky Dean Allred

Graveside services for Rocky Dean Allred, 65, of Duncan, are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Saturday, October 3, 2026, at the New Velma Cemetery with Jeff Rather officiating. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home Velma Chapel.

Rocky was born April 28, 1961, at Duncan, OK, to the late Mr. Lephy Lee Allred, Jr. “Junior” and Mrs. Judy Pearl (Sanner) Allred.He departed this life on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at his home in Duncan.

Rocky was raised in Velma, where he attended school and built the foundation of a life marked by hard work, determination, and deep enjoyment of the outdoors. During his school years, he was known as a very aggressive football player, proudly wearing number 64. He graduated from Velma High School with the Class of 1979. After graduation, Rocky went to work cowboying for a living, embracing the life he would continue throughout all of his years. Cowboying was more than an occupation to him; it was the way he lived and the work he knew well. He also loved coon hunting and hog hunting, and he found happiness in good cooking and in spending time with family. Rocky will be remembered for his strong spirit, his love of the cowboy life, and the simple joys that meant the most to him.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Junior and Judy Allred and his best friend, Charley Foster.

Survivors are a host of family which include, Julinda Taylor, Renlyn Kelley, Vic Sanner, Sandy Foster, Darlene Foster, Kaden Roden who was like a son to Rocky, Jack Sanner, Shirley Mitchell, Bobbie Pierce, Donna Darity, Brenda Rodriguez, Jacklyn Mercer, and many other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be CJ Burrow, Cody Johnson, Pete Hall, Kaden Roden, Mickey Pruitt, and Eddie Burton.
