Thomas Brian Mortimer

Lone Grove -The late Thomas Brian Mortimer,58,  born on November 20, 1965, Wichita, KS to the late Mr. Howard Delbert Mortimer and Mrs. Elfrieda Waltrud (Ramasan) Mortimer, bid farewell to this world on Friday evening of  July 26, 2024, in Lone Grove, OK. Known for his tenure as a truck driver instructor in San Angelo, Texas, Thomas touched the lives of many with his expertise and guidance behind the wheel.

A man of strong opinions and a penchant for teasing, Thomas was never one to shy from sharing his thoughts. His love for the mountains and cherished moments with his family brought him immense joy throughout his life. When he wasn't on the open road instructing budding truck drivers, Thomas could be found indulging in his favorite pastimes - fishing and embracing the freedom of the open road. He also loved spending time with his canine buddy named Paroah.

Thomas is survived by his beloved sister Kirsten Sutterfield and her husband Patrick of Duncan; his brother Howard Paul Mortimer and his wife Sandy of Ravia. He is also fondly remembered by his parents Howard and Elfrieda, along with his half-sister Sarah Deasy and numerous other family members.

In the hearts of those who knew him best, Thomas leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love for adventure, and a steadfast commitment to his family. As we mourn his passing, let us celebrate the life of a man who lived fully and loved deeply.

Cremation services are scheduled with Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson. No services are planned at this time.
